Economic Advisory Council (EAC) member to Prime Minister Shri Sanjeev Sanyal Ji and Director EAC- PM Shri Devi Prasad Mishra Ji visited Phek District Head Quarter and interacted with the entrepreneurs at Phek Town in the conference hall of DPDB on 28th October 2023.
According to a press statement issued by the State Protocol Officer, Department of Home, Shri Hupasayi Tetseo, the two dignitaries accompanied by Dr Er. Vekho Swuro visited Subhas Hut at Military Camp Chekhabama while on the way to Phek and interacted with the military officers over a cup of tea before visiting Phek District Head Quarter, the team also visited Lozaphuhu Village over a luncheon hosted by the Lozaphuhu Village Council where a short reception ceremony was organized and a memorandum was also submitted to Shri Sanjeev Sanyal ji to pursue with the PMO and intervene in the matter as well. Sanyal ji assured them to study the matter in length and do the favour at his best capacity.
Meanwhile, interacting with the entrepreneurs at DPDB hall Phek Town, Sanyal Ji apprised young people to take up an Eco-Tourism project to move forward with the changing times in the present society. Sharing the hurdles and obstacles faced by the young & qualified entrepreneurs in terms of God transportation, cool storage, and power problems, Sanyal Ji assured to look into the matter by coordinating with the state Government and nodal ministry at the centre as well.
On reaching the Ruzhazo Village, the first administered Village of the Indian National Army (INA), a grand reception was organized by the Ruzhazo Village Council with cultural spotlights followed by a dinner and halted at Dr. Er. Vekho Swuro’s residence.
Tomorrow's schedules include trekking to the INA en route, attending of Sunday Worship service, visiting the Subhas memorial park construction site followed by a luncheon and proceeding to Vivor Hotel, Kohima. (PR)
