A group of 24 mass communication students from Pune has set out on a unique 10-day educational tour to Arunachal Pradesh, as part of the Border Area Tourism Initiative by @GajrajCorps_IA. This special trip is a chance for the students to explore the history, culture, and military importance of the region while learning about the courage and resilience of the people there.
The students will visit some of Arunachal Pradesh’s most important and beautiful places, where history and nature meet. Some of the key spots they will visit include:
- Tawang: A town full of history and patriotism, known for its strategic importance.
- Nyukmadung: A place that has witnessed tough battles and shows the strength of the region.
- Subedar Joginder and Jaswant Garh War Memorials: These memorials honor two brave soldiers, Subedar Joginder Singh and Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, whose courage is remembered by all.
- Holy Waterfalls & Holy Tree: Sacred sites that represent the spiritual and cultural values of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Bob Khating Museum: A museum dedicated to Major Bob Khating, who played a key role in bringing Tawang into India.
- Light & Sound Show at Tawang: A special performance that tells the story of the region’s history and bravery.
During their trip, the students will also visit various war memorials, paying respects to the soldiers who gave their lives for the country.
This educational tour is more than just a sightseeing trip. It aims to help the students understand the importance of national unity and pride. They will be inspired to share stories about India’s history, its challenges, and its progress with others, especially through their studies in mass communication.
