The Indian Army has successfully set up a field hospital in Mandalay as part of its ongoing humanitarian mission, Operation Brahma. The hospital, staffed with 118 medical personnel, was brought in using two Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft. It is now fully operational with 200 beds, providing both surgical and inpatient care to those in need.
Today, Mr. Myo Aung, the Chief Minister of Mandalay, visited the hospital to check on its readiness and capabilities.
The hospital is fully equipped to provide urgent medical treatment to people affected by the crisis in the region. This action is a clear sign of India’s strong commitment to helping Myanmar during this difficult time, showing how both countries are working together to meet the urgent healthcare needs of the local population.
