Indian Army Leads Tree Plantation Drive in Tinsukia on World Environment Health Day

On September 26, 2024, the Indian Army, in collaboration with Parivesh Sangrakshan Samiti, organized a tree plantation drive at Hassak LP School in Tinsukia, Assam, to celebrate World Environment Health Day. Over 150 participants, including 70 students, planted native tree saplings, emphasizing the importance of environmental preservation and community involvement in combating climate change. The event concluded with participants pledging to nurture the newly planted trees and support ongoing environmental initiatives.
