Honoring Heroes: 7th Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy Inaugurated DCM Chowna Mein in Namsai

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein inaugurated the 7th edition of the State-level Hangpan Dada Memorial Tournament for U-16 boys and girls in football and volleyball. The tournament, organized by the Department of Sports, honors Havildar Hangpan Dada, who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his bravery. Mein emphasized the government's commitment to youth sports and announced the construction of new sports infrastructure, including national-standard stadiums in Namsai and Chongkham.
