The Indian Army is set to conduct a major recruitment rally at the Advance Landing Ground (ALG) in Surankote, Poonch, scheduled from 8 to 20 November 2024. This initiative provides a significant opportunity for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to enlist in the Indian Army, fostering both personal growth and community pride.
The rally aims to fill 307 vacancies for Soldier General Duty and an additional 45 positions for Clerks and Tradesmen within the Territorial Army. For Soldier General Duty roles, the recruitment is open to candidates from 31 tehsils across Jammu Division, covering key districts such as Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, and Jammu. Meanwhile, aspirants from across the entire Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply for the Clerks and Tradesmen positions.
This recruitment rally represents a collaborative effort between the Indian Army and the Civil Administration of Jammu & Kashmir, ensuring a streamlined and fair selection process. The Indian Army views the event as a vital platform for the region's youth to showcase their skills and seize the opportunity to serve the nation. By joining the ranks, selected individuals will earn the honor of becoming "Sons of Soil," contributing to national security and embodying the spirit of patriotism.
