Leading the ceremony were the Vice Principal, Administrative Officer, and Cadet Brajesh Kumar, who laid wreaths at the School War Memorial.
A special assembly followed at the school auditorium, where motivational documentaries on the heroic operations of the Indian Air Force were screened for the cadets. Speeches delivered by Cadet Anvi Mahajan and Cadet Path Mahajan highlighted the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of the Air Warriors, leaving the audience filled with pride and inspiration.
To further commemorate the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, symbolizing unity and the school's commitment to upholding the values of discipline, patriotism, and service to the nation. Officers, staff members, and the junior-most cadet of the school participated in this event. The Vice Principal took a moment to pay tribute to fallen heroes, including Major Arvind Bazala, Major Rohit Kumar, and Flight Lieutenant Advitiya Bal—alumni of Sainik School Nagrota—who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.
In his address, the Vice Principal encouraged the cadets to read about and draw inspiration from the lives of these brave defenders, urging them to embody the spirit of service and sacrifice in their own lives. Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, the Principal of Sainik School Nagrota, extended warm greetings to the school community on this special day.
