Annual Training Camp J10 was a life-changing experience for cadets, featuring
motivational and educational sessions that left a lasting mark. The day
unfolded with a spirited speech by Major Sachin, a former NCC cadet and
illustrated officer, followed by an insightful talk on Artificial Intelligence
(AI) by Dr. Ashish Suri.
The morning began with
a passionate motivational session led by Major Sachin, whose outstanding career
continues to inspire NCC candidates. Sharing his remarkable journey from cadet
to officer, Major Sachin narrated his milestones such as his participation in
the Republic Day Camp, the prestigious Youth Exchange Program (YEP), and his
Best Cadet award.
Speaking to the cadets,
Major Sachin stressed the core importance of discipline, service to the nation,
and strength. He encouraged cadets to uphold the NCC’s mission and strive for
excellence. He also underlined the importance of staying connected to one's
roots and giving back to the community, motivating cadets to aim high while
staying grounded.
The cadets were visibly
energized, leaving the session with a revitalized sense of drive and ambition
to contribute to the nation’s development.
Following the
motivational address, the cadets participated in a fascinating session on
Artificial Intelligence (AI) led by Dr. Ashish Suri. The lecture examined the
transformative possibility of AI, emphasizing its uses in medicine, education,
and technological innovation.
Dr. Suri struck a
balanced tone, recognizing the immense opportunities AI offers while warning
cadets about its possible misuse. He presented real-world examples of how AI
has enabled defrauding schemes, urging cadets to remain alert and
knowledgeable. The session ended with interactive discussions, providing cadets
with valuable knowledge to harness AI responsibly and defend themselves from
digital threats.
The day’s combination
of motivational guidance and futuristic insights left cadets feeling empowered
and informed. As they reflected on the lessons learned, the cadets embraced a
vision of service, discipline, and informed decision-making.
Day 7 of the camp will
undoubtedly be remembered as a milestone in shaping the cadets aspirations and
equipping them with the tools to navigate challenges in both the physical and
