Sainik School Ghorakhal has once again achieved remarkable success by emerging as the top-performing institution in the 2024 UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) written examination. This marks yet another feather in the cap for the prestigious school, known for its long-standing tradition of producing future leaders for the Indian Armed Forces.
With 60 cadets clearing the competitive exam, including 28 from the current batch and 32 from previous batches, the school has reinforced its reputation as a leading institution among the 33 Sainik Schools across India. Sainik School Ghorakhal has been a consistent contributor to NDA entries, and it has previously won the Defence Minister’s Trophy nine times, with the 10th win anticipated soon. Group Captain VS Dangwal, Principal of the school, congratulated the successful cadets, along with the faculty and staff, for their collective efforts. He encouraged the cadets to remain focused on their ultimate goal of securing a place in the Armed Forces.
