Nagrota: In a remarkable achievement, 35 cadets from Sainik School Nagrota have successfully cleared the UPSC NDA/NA II Written Examination, held on 1st September 2024. This accomplishment includes 21 cadets from the current Class XII batch and 14 from previous batches, reflecting the school's unwavering commitment to academic and military excellence.
The cadets from Class XII have now set their sights on the upcoming Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews, the next critical step towards joining the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA). Their success has been attributed to the rigorous coaching, personalized mentoring, and structured preparation provided by the school.
Under the leadership of Principal Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, who assumed command in May 2024, the school has realigned its strategic focus to cultivate future military leaders. By implementing enhanced academic rigor and personality development initiatives, Sainik School Nagrota has strengthened its reputation as a premier institution for grooming NDA aspirants.

To further support the cadets in their SSB journey, the institution has planned comprehensive training sessions involving experienced Ex-GTOs (Group Testing Officers) and psychologists. These experts will provide crucial guidance to help the cadets succeed in the upcoming interviews and ultimately fulfill their dreams of serving the nation.
