Central Forces to Recruit Ex-Agniveers with Relaxations and Reservations

Directors General of CISF, BSF, SSB, RPF, and CRPF have detailed the arrangements, emphasizing the benefits for both the forces and the recruits.

In a significant move, various paramilitary forces in India have announced special recruitment provisions for Ex-Agniveers. This initiative aims to leverage the skills and dedication of these individuals who have completed their tenure under the Agnipath scheme. Directors General of CISF, BSF, SSB, RPF, and CRPF have detailed the arrangements, emphasizing the benefits for both the forces and the recruits.

CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)

Director General Smt. Neena Singh stated that CISF has reserved 10% of constable posts for Ex-Agniveers. These candidates will receive relaxations in the Physical Efficiency Test and age limits, with a five-year age relaxation for the first batch and three years for subsequent batches. Singh highlighted that these measures will ensure Ex-Agniveers receive maximum benefits, bringing a capable, dedicated, and disciplined workforce to enhance CISF's operational efficiency.

BSF (Border Security Force)

Director General Shri Nitin Agrawal expressed BSF's eagerness to recruit Ex-Agniveers, who will also benefit from a 10% reservation in recruitment. Agrawal mentioned that Ex-Agniveers, after short training, will be deployed along the borders. They will receive a five-year age relaxation for the first batch and three years for the following ones. Agrawal emphasized the value of their training and discipline.

SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal)

Director General Shri Daljit Singh Chaudhary announced that SSB has fixed a quota for Ex-Agniveers and amended its recruitment rules accordingly. The first batch of Ex-Agniveers will receive a five-year age relaxation and will not be required to undergo the Physical Efficiency Test. Chaudhary reiterated the force's commitment to integrating Ex-Agniveers into their ranks.

RPF (Railway Protection Force)

Director General Shri Manoj Yadava confirmed that RPF will reserve 10% of recruitment slots for Ex-Agniveers. These recruits will receive an age relaxation of five years for the first batch and three years for subsequent ones, with no requirement for the Physical Efficiency Test. Yadava welcomed the integration of Ex-Agniveers, noting it will enhance RPF's capabilities.

CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)

Director General Shri Anish Dayal Singh detailed CRPF's preparations to recruit Ex-Agniveers, with a 10% reservation and amended recruitment rules. Ex-Agniveers will benefit from a five-year age relaxation for the first batch and three years thereafter, along with an exemption from the Physical Efficiency Test. Singh highlighted that Ex-Agniveers' military training and service will bring immediate dedication and discipline to CRPF.

This coordinated effort by India's paramilitary forces underscores the strategic value placed on Ex-Agniveers' experience and training, promising mutual benefits for the troops and the recruits. (PR)
