The Vipra Foundation will host the Swasti Kaamna Samaroh on July 2, 2024, at the Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi. The event will honour Union Culture and Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Chowna Mein, and newly elected prominent MPs for their outstanding contributions. A significant number of Brahmins from Rajasthan and officers from the Vipra Foundation across the country are expected to attend.
The ceremony will recognize the pivotal roles played by Shekhawat and Mein in developing Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh as a major pilgrimage site. Vipra Foundation founder Sushil Ojha and National President Radheshyam Sharma Guruji highlighted Shekhawat's visionary efforts, likening the development to the pilgrimage destinations of Kashi and Ayodhya. Inspired by Shekhawat, the Vipra Foundation took on the responsibility of installing a massive 54-foot statue at the site.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already performed the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the statue site. The Panch Dhatu (five-metal alloy) statue has arrived, and installation is progressing rapidly. The statue will be consecrated in a grand ceremony after the rainy season. For this, time has been sought from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and is pending approval.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein, an elected representative from the area of Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh, has also played a crucial role in enhancing Parshuram Kund.
The Swasti Kaamna Samaroh will further celebrate the achievements of newly elected prominent MPs. The event underscores the collaborative efforts in preserving and promoting cultural heritage, with a special focus on the Parshuram Kund pilgrimage site.
