In a proud moment for the state of Manipur, the Indian Army honoured Master Seilalgou Gangte for securing admission to the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadagwasla, Pune, on his very first attempt. The young boy from Bunglon in Churachandpur district achieved an impressive All India Rank of 238, a remarkable feat considering the challenges of hailing from a rural, conflict-affected area.
The felicitation ceremony was held at his native village on November 10, where Army officials, alongside Master Gangte’s father, Mr. SS Gangte is a former member of the Border Security Force (BSF) congratulated the young achiever for his dedication, hard work, and perseverance.
Master Gangte’s success not only highlights his individual determination but also stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration for other aspiring youth in the region.
