To help the Uttar Pradesh government manage this huge event, the IAF’s Central Air Command has outlined key support measures ensuring safety, efficient logistics and disaster response.

- Seamless Air Travel
- Bamrauli Air Force Station will operate round-the-clock from December 20, 2024, to February 28, 2025, handling civil and chartered flights.
- The station’s Category-II Instrument Landing System (ILS) ensures smooth flight operations even in low-visibility winter conditions.
- Infrastructure Development
- The IAF has helped connect the city better by transferring land for a four-lane highway from Kaushambi to the airport and building a Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Begum Bazar.
- Adjustments to the runway at Bamrauli Airfield were made to accommodate these projects.
- Assistance has been provided to expand the civil airport terminal enhancing passenger convenience.
- Disaster Preparedness
- A special Rescue Coordination Team will be deployed at the Mela site with advanced equipment for first aid, triage and emergency evacuation.
Collaboration with Local Authorities
The IAF has held discussions with the Mela administration, the District Magistrate of Prayagraj, and other officials to ensure smooth planning and execution.
