In a significant educational initiative, the Indian Army has commenced an eight-week communication skills training program for students in the tribal region of Ukhrul, Manipur. The program, organized at the request of the Principal of Indira Gandhi Hill Flower School in Mongkot Chepu, is designed to enhance the English language proficiency of students from classes 8th to 10th.
The hybrid-mode training, which combines online and in-person studies, aims to benefit over 50 students by improving their communication skills. The initiative seeks to boost their confidence and enhance their overall personality, making them better equipped for future academic and professional opportunities.
Senior Army officers visited the school to interact with the students, encouraging them to make the most of this unique opportunity. The officers emphasized the importance of communication skills in personal and academic growth.
The school’s Principal, along with the students' parents, expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for supporting education in the region. They highlighted the Army’s role in fostering peace and development through initiatives like this, which benefit the diverse communities of Ukhrul.
