The Indian Navy is once again stepping up to help those in need, delivering crucial aid to Myanmar after a recent crisis.
On March 31, 2025, two Indian Navy ships, INS Satpura and INS Savitri, arrived in Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar. These ships brought with them around 40 tons of important relief supplies, including food and medicines, to help people affected by the disaster.
At the same time, two more Navy ships, INS Karmuk and LCU 52, left Sri Vijaypuram on March 30, 2025, with 30 tons of aid. They reached Yangon in the morning of April 1, 2025, and joined the efforts to bring relief to those in need.
In addition to this, the Indian Navy’s ship INS Gharial is currently being loaded with 440 tons of relief materials, such as rice, cooking oil, and medicines. It is on its way to Myanmar to help even more people affected by the crisis.
The Indian Navy’s quick and efficient response shows its commitment to helping the people of Myanmar during this difficult time. As the first to arrive with help, the Navy is making sure that vital supplies reach the people who need them the most. (PR)
