PM-DevINE Sparks a New Era: ₹4,927 Cr to Revolutionize North East Development!

Two projects worth ₹121.21 crore have already been completed, enhancing infrastructure in education, healthcare, tourism, and connectivity.

The Indian government is working hard to improve the North Eastern region through the Prime Minister's Development Initiative for North Eastern Region (PM-DevINE). Since its launch in October 2022, the scheme has supported 36 projects worth ₹4927.22 crore up to January 31, 2025. Two projects costing ₹21.21 Crore have already been completed. Minister of State for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, shared this statement in the Rajya Sabha.

The projects aim to improve daily life for people in the North East by improving infrastructure in education, health, tourism, connectivity, and livelihood sectors. These improvements will provide better facilities and opportunities for residents.
