The Indian Army honored four of its best units with the VCOAS Unit Citation in a special ceremony held at South Block today. The awards were given by Lieutenant General NS Raja Subramani, the Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS).
These units were praised for their excellent work, bravery, and strong dedication to keeping the country safe. Lt Gen Subramani said the soldiers showed great skill, strength, and commitment in their duties.
He also spoke about how the world is changing fast, and the Army must keep learning, improving, and using new ideas to stay ready for any challenge.
Many senior officers and guests were present to cheer for the award winners. The event ended with a group photo of the winners with top Army leaders.
