Raksha Rajya Mantri (Minister of State for Defence) Shri Sanjay Seth held important discussions with global defence leaders during the 15th Aero India event in Bengaluru. These meetings focused on supporting defence partnerships, promoting India's defence manufacturing capabilities and providing global security cooperation.
During his meeting with Italy’s Under Secretary of State for Defence, Mr. Matteo Perego Di Cremnago, both leaders examined the progress in defence relations between the two countries. They discussed India’s growing ability to manufacture defence equipment and develop advanced technology. Both sides agreed to continue working together and create their collaboration in the future.
Shri Sanjay Seth also met with Lord Vernon Coaker, Minister for the House of Lords from the United Kingdom. Their discussion focused on supporting the defence relationship between India and the UK. They also talked about working together to promote global peace, especially in the Indo-Pacific and Indian Ocean regions. They show the importance of maintaining international waters open and providing that all countries follow international laws.
Another key meeting took place between Shri Sanjay Seth and Mr. Limpho Tau, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office (Defence and Security) of Lesotho. Both leaders explored ways to boost defence exports and expand cooperation in the sector. India’s growing expertise in defence manufacturing was a key point of discussion, with both sides seeing the incredible potential for future partnerships.
