India and Kyrgyzstan have come together once again for their annual military training program, Khanjar-XII. This joint exercise, now in its 12th edition, started today in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, and will continue until March 23, 2025.
The main goal of this exercise is to strengthen cooperation and teamwork between the special forces of both countries. The training focuses on skills such as fighting in city areas, countering terrorism, and precision shooting. These activities are being carried out under the guidelines of the United Nations, ensuring that they follow international security standards.
For many years, India and Kyrgyzstan have worked together on military training, and the Khanjar series of exercises is an important part of their defense partnership. This year’s training will help soldiers from both countries learn from each other, improve their combat skills, and prepare for real-world security challenges.
By participating in Khanjar-XII, both nations are showing their commitment to regional security and military cooperation. The exercise will not only strengthen their defense ties but also help in building a safer and more secure environment for the future. (PR)
