Manipur-based Seuti Films Production has started its groundwork for their latest project "Mirabai Chanu", officially registering the title of the movie with the Film Forum of Manipur.
Mirabai Chanu has expressed her wish that the role should be played by an actress from the Manipur state who looks like her.
The film's chairman said that the film would be a realistic film and the new face will be trained to act as Mirabai. The proposed film will showcase the entire life of Mirabai Chanu, beginning with her early days in the village and her journey to the Olympics.
It is also decided that, after selecting a suitable girl, she will be attending an acting course in Mirabai's village for about six months.
