A morning in Varanasi promises to be one of the most interesting experiences in all of India. Subah-e-Banaras is a unique start-up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It was started in 2014 keeping in mind the freshness offered by the beautiful city of Varanasi surrounded by the ever-flowing Ganges at Assi Ghat of Varanasi. It was an initiative taken by a group of government officials forming a committee. The program enables people to take initiative and indulge in spirituality-laden cultural activities, and high-spirited rituals. It has emerged as an attractive tourist attraction in Varanasi. To see this beautiful sunrise and refreshing morning activities of Subah-e-Banaras, Shri Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh the Indian Union External Affairs Minister and Education from Manipur visited this beautiful soul soothing Kashi ghat this morning.
Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh Ji had offered his worship at Kashi Vishwanath temple, Hanuman mandir and took bath in the river Ganges and also visited the famous Banarasi sweet shop to eat famous Jalebi and Kachori.
Suba-e-Banaras essentially takes place at Assi Ghat and is a prayer to both the Sun God and the holy river Ganges. The spiritual recital is a very surreal experience and is performed diligently every day throughout the year.
