Air Marshal Surat Singh Takes Charge as AOC-in-C Eastern Air Command

Air Marshal Surat Singh assumed command as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Air Command on October 1, 2024. A seasoned fighter pilot with over 2,900 flying hours, he has held numerous key positions throughout his career, including commanding a MiG-29 squadron and serving as Director General Air Operations. He has been awarded the Vayu Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal for his distinguished service.
