Today, Hon'ble Member of Parliament (MP) Shri S Supongmeren Jamir attended a meeting of the Telecom Advisory Committee (TAC) at the BSNL office in Dimapur. This meeting was the first for the recently formed committee, which will serve from 2024 to 2026.
Along with the MP, the meeting was attended by important officials such as Shri Masharib Gul Mufti, the General Manager of BSNL Nagaland, Shri Y. Zarenthung Kikon, Deputy General Manager of Nagaland BA and other senior BSNL officials with TAC members.
During the meeting, Shri Jamir encouraged the TAC members to support and guide the BSNL staff with their expertise. He stressed that everyone should work together to ensure that the people of Nagaland have access to reliable, affordable, and strong telecom services.
Shri Mufti, the General Manager of Nagaland BA also shared the progress BSNL has made in the state in recent years, despite facing various challenges. He also talked about the plans for the future to continue improving the telecom services in the region.
The meeting included a detailed discussion of several important issues related to telecom services. Many decisions were made and plans were put in place to solve these problems and improve the overall service for the people of Nagaland. (PR)
