The Jawahar Bal Manch (JBM) Nagaland successfully organized its State Camp on April 26, 2025, at the Hiekha Coaching Centre in Kohima, with the inspiring theme "Know Your Constitution."
The camp, which kicked off at 9:00 AM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from young students across the state, each eager to learn more about India's guiding document and the rights and responsibilities it bestows.
The event was graced by Shri S. Supongmeren Jamir, Hon'ble MP (Lok Sabha) and President of NPCC, who attended as the Special Guest. In his address, he urged the students to take pride in understanding the Constitution and to strive toward becoming informed, responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to society.
Setting the tone for the day, Shri Kaqheto Kughutu, State Chief Coordinator of JBM Nagaland, welcomed the participants warmly. This was followed by an inspiring inaugural address by Shri Manoj Dutta, National Coordinator and JBM In-charge for Nagaland, who emphasized the critical role of youth in upholding constitutional values.
Adding further encouragement, Shri Christopher Tilak, AICC Secretary In-charge of Nagaland, motivated the students with his words of support and appreciation for their zeal.
The highlight of the day was an engaging training session led by Adv. Yogesh Sharma, National Coordinator and Training In-charge for JBM. His interactive presentation simplified key features of the Constitution, ensuring the students not only learned but also connected with the subject.
Throughout the day, students took part in a range of activities designed to test their knowledge and creativity, including a Quiz Competition, Extempore Speech, Martial Arts Display, Fun and Obstacle Games, Group Song Competition, and a vibrant Drawing and Painting Competition. The young participants impressed everyone with their talent, team spirit, and deep understanding of constitutional values.
An important highlight of the camp was its role in selecting students for the upcoming JBM National Camp to be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, from May 11 to 14, 2025. The top ten performers from this camp will proudly represent Nagaland at the national stage.
The event marked a significant step towards nurturing a generation of aware, empowered, and Constitution-conscious youth in Nagaland.(PR)
