The valedictory function of the 212 Pilot Course was held at Air Force Station Kalaikunda on 02 February 2025, celebrating the successful training of the officers who learned to fly the Hawk aircraft. Air Marshal Surat Singh, the Chief of the Eastern Air Command, was the special guest at the event.
Air Marshal Singh was welcomed by Air Commodore Sagar M. Paranjpe, the head of Air Force Station Kalaikunda when he arrived. The ceremony marked the end of the pilot’s training, and they will now move on to join frontline fighter squadrons.
At the event, the Air Marshal handed out awards to the officers who performed the best during their training. He congratulated all the pilots for finishing the course and encouraged them to always follow the highest standards of discipline. He also reminded them of the core values of the Indian Air Force as they continue their careers.
These trained pilots are now ready to take on important roles in protecting the country. (PR)
