The Indian Army and the Indian Air Force (IAF) recently conducted a joint training exercise in Jammu under the command of the Tiger Division. This exercise was scheduled to improve coordination between ground armies and aerial units, which is important in modern war.
The main purpose of this training was to practice quick army deployment behind enemy lines, carry out aerial maneuvers, and engage targets with accuracy. During the exercise, IAF helicopters airlifted soldiers from a designated base and transported them to a specific location. Once the troops landed, they worked together to carry out a simulated attack, showcasing their teamwork and combat skills.
This training shows the importance of air mobility in military operations and demonstrates how the Army and Air Force can work together effectively. By practicing these operations in a controlled environment, the forces were able to improve their ability to handle real-life combat situations.
Such joint trainings help strengthen cooperation between different branches of the military and improve their overall effectiveness. They ensure that the armed forces are always prepared to respond to any security challenges that may arise. (PR)
