Here are the key medical facilities the Army has put in place:
- 50-Bed Hospital at Military Hospital: A 50-bed hospital has been set up at the Military Hospital in Prayagraj to take care of any health needs of the pilgrims and provide immediate medical attention.
- Extra Medical Facility at MH Prayagraj: In case of emergency, the Army has added an extra 45-bed medical facility at the Old Cantonment in Prayagraj. This will help respond quickly to any medical crisis.
- Specialist Doctors for Communicable Diseases: The Army has sent specialists to help control and manage any communicable diseases, working with local authorities to keep the situation under control.
- Mobile Medical Team at OD Fort: A mobile medical team is available 24/7 at OD Fort. The team is equipped with five beds, including two with ventilators, to give urgent care to pilgrims in critical condition. The team also includes a medical expert to provide fast treatment.
- Medical Aid Post at Mela Ground: A fully equipped medical aid post is set up at the Mela Ground to offer immediate medical help to pilgrims on-site.
