In a solemn and heartfelt tribute on the occasion of 'Shaurya Diwas', the Infantry Directorate hosted the 'Veer Nari Samman Samaroh' from October 21 to 23, 2024. The event honored the courage and sacrifice of 25 soldiers from 13 Infantry Regiments who laid down their lives in the line of duty over the past year.

This interaction provided them with a platform to voice their concerns and receive assurances for resolutions to any issues they face.
As part of the ceremony, the Veer Naris and Veer Matas visited the National War Memorial, where they paid floral tributes to the nation's fallen heroes.
The event culminated in a grand felicitation ceremony held at the prestigious Manekshaw Centre.
