Aero India 2025 is set to be a main event at the Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru, with exciting promotions that will make it bigger and better than ever before. This year’s event will focus on improving the experience for everyone involved—whether you're a visitor, exhibitor or delegate.
To make getting to the event easier, the organizers have made big improvements to the infrastructure around the venue. The roads leading to Air Force Station Yelahanka have been widened to reduce traffic jams and make it easier to move around. The Ministry of Defence and the Indian Air Force (IAF) have worked together with local authorities, like the Bengaluru Traffic Police and Namma Metro, to make sure traffic flows smoothly. Real-time traffic monitoring will be in place to adjust routes if needed.
In addition, free AC shuttle buses will transport visitors from various locations in the city to the venue, helping to reduce congestion. Special entry and exit routes have also been created for different groups of people, including visitors and exhibitors.
Security is a top priority for the event. To prevent any unauthorized drone activity, certain areas have been designated as “red drone zones,” and measures are in place to handle any security concerns. Rapid Mobile Units will be available to respond to emergencies, and regular drills are being conducted with multiple agencies to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
The event organizers have made several changes to improve the overall experience for both exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition halls are now bigger and better-ventilated, making the space more comfortable. More seating areas, rest zones, and food courts, including Indira Canteens, have been added around the venue.
The venue will also feature better signage and wayfinding to help attendees navigate easily. There will be lost and found counters, ATM kiosks, and multiple water points for added convenience. Medical aid posts, including a special cardiac aid post, will be on-site for emergencies, ensuring that everyone stays safe.
A thorough security system has been set up to keep everyone safe. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Bengaluru Police, and other agencies are working together to ensure tighter security. Visitors will experience quicker access control, with additional security measures in place such as 24/7 CCTV monitoring and designated screening areas for different groups of attendees.
A Command and Control Center will be set up to respond to any security concerns, while disaster management and fire safety teams will be ready to handle any emergencies.
The event organizers have worked to fix past issues with connectivity. Temporary mobile towers and network boosters will be installed to ensure strong mobile coverage. A new Aero India 2025 app has also been launched, which will offer live updates, event schedules, and help with navigation.
Aero India is known for its exciting aircraft demonstrations, and this year will be no different. The Indian Air Force has created a dedicated airspace management plan in partnership with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Temporary flight restrictions will be in place around the venue to ensure safety during the demonstrations. There are also special plans for parking and refueling the aircraft of both domestic and international participants.
