Myanmar: In a concerted expansion of Operation Brahma, the Indian Army continues its multifaceted mission in Myanmar, blending strategic coordination with humanitarian compassion. Today, following a rigorous assessment of 12 earthquake-affected sites across Naypyitaw and Mandalay, the Demolition Specialist Team of Engineers carried out a critical inspection of the historic Old Ava Bridge spanning the Irrawaddy River in Mandalay.

The inspection, conducted in close coordination with Myanmar’s local administration, aims to evaluate the structural integrity of the iconic bridge—an essential link for both civilian and military logistics. As Myanmar continues to recover from the devastating earthquake, this move reflects a proactive step toward restoring key infrastructure and ensuring regional stability.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army Field Hospital in Mandalay remains steadfast at the frontlines of humanitarian relief. Operated by a team of seasoned medical professionals, the hospital has become a beacon of hope for thousands affected by the calamity.
