Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, inaugurated the 16th ‘Jumbo’ Majumdar International Seminar at the Air Force Auditorium. Organized by the Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), the seminar is held every year in honor of Wing Commander Karun Krishna ‘Jumbo’ Majumdar, a legendary Indian fighter pilot from the pre-Independence era.
This year’s theme, "Evolving Dynamics of Aerospace Power," concentrated on the latest developments in air and space technology. Experts from the defense and flight sectors discussed important topics such as the integration of air and space forces, the role of space technology in air defense, the increasing use of drones in modern warfare, the impact of cyber threats on aerial combat, and the adoption of new technologies in advanced aircraft for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
The seminar brought together military officials, researchers and flight lovers, creating a platform for insightful discussions.
