In a special celebration of World Meditation Day, Headquarters 51 Sub Area at Narangi Military Station hosted a one-hour meditation session for over 100 troops and their families. The session, taught by professionals from Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, aimed to promote mental clarity, emotional strength, and inner peace.
Prajapita Brahma Kumaris, a globally recognized spiritual organization linked with the United Nations, led the session with useful and easy meditation techniques. These methods were designed to fit effortlessly into daily routines, focusing on self-reflection, positive thinking, and mindfulness as powerful tools to manage stress and boost overall well-being.
The event began with an introduction to meditation, followed by hands-on demonstrations and a calming guided session. Participants were fully engaged, finding the experience refreshing and valuable for their busy lives.
A senior officer shared his thoughts, saying, “Meditation is more than a practice—it’s a way of life. It helps us face challenges with calm and confidence. This event reflects our dedication to the overall well-being of our troops and their families.”
The initiative was a big hit, creating a sense of community and shining a light on the importance of mental and emotional health.
Events like these show the Indian Army’s commitment to the complete development of its personnel, ensuring they are strong not only physically but also mentally and emotionally to handle the demands of military life. (PR)
