In a significant community development initiative, the Indian Army has successfully completed an infrastructure enhancement project at a primary school in Matiakhana Gaon, located in the Tinsukia district of Assam. The project is part of the Army’s ongoing efforts under “Operation Sadhbhavna”, aimed at improving educational facilities and fostering a better learning environment for students in remote and underserved regions.
As part of the revitalization efforts, the Army provided essential resources to the school, including desks, benches, ceiling fans, almirahs, bookshelves for the library, as well as office tables and chairs. These improvements are expected to significantly enhance the school’s infrastructure, offering students and teachers a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.
The school’s Principal, along with the teaching staff, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for their valuable contribution. They acknowledged the importance of such initiatives in shaping the future of young students in rural areas, where access to quality education facilities often remains a challenge.
