On September 11, 2024, Kaushal Singh reported to Badgonda Police Station that he and a woman were kidnapped and held hostage by unknown attackers. The police responded immediately, rescued the victims, and started an investigation. Within two days, six suspects were identified and arrested.
The arrested individuals were:
- Anil Singh (27) and Vivan Singh (23) from Gondku Village – arrested on September 11.
- Ritesh Singh (25), Rohit Singh (22) from Bhilmi Village, and Sadan Singh (23) from Nandgaon Village, along with a minor (identity protected) – arrested on September 13.
The police recovered important evidence, including a motorcycle, weapons, cash, and a country-made pistol. Forensic reports and DNA analysis further strengthened the case.
